Wir sind ein kleines Zwei-Personen-Indiestudio \u2013 ein Leidenschaftsprojekt, das wir in unserer Freizeit betreiben \u2013 und haben uns vorgenommen, die Magie klassischer Spiele wieder aufleben zu lassen. Inspiriert vom goldenen Zeitalter der 8- und 16-Bit-Games erschaffen wir Retro-Erlebnisse, die Nostalgie mit frischen Ideen verbinden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diese kleine Insel der Nostalgie existiert in den L\u00fccken zwischen Karrieren in der Enterprise-Softwareentwicklung, einem turbulenten Familienalltag und dem gelegentlichen Drang, ein Cabrio zu kaufen und das Klischee der Midlife-Crisis voll auszuleben. Aber Horizont Entertainment<\/em> ist schon seit unseren Schulzeiten Anfang der 1990er Jahre Teil unserer Geschichte. Damals entwickelten wir kleine Freeware-Titel und experimentierten mit Spieldesign auf jede erdenkliche Weise \u2013 manches erfolgreich, manches rein explorativ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auf diesem Weg ist es uns gelungen, ein paar Spiele zu ver\u00f6ffentlichen, die in den fr\u00fchen Tagen des Internets ihr Publikum fanden. Damals war schon das Entdecken von Freeware und Shareware ein Abenteuer f\u00fcr sich \u2013 man musste Links aufsp\u00fcren, sich auf Empfehlungen per Mundpropaganda verlassen und sich in einer Welt ohne Steam, mobile App-Stores oder sogar Google zurechtfinden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
